- Global webinar on “Cow Entrepreneurship – Creating Millionaires” got organized.
Cows will be in the center of world in coming days, announced Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying. He was speaking in the global webinar organized by Global Confederation of Cow-based Industries on “Cow Entrepreneurship – Creating Millionaires” on the occasion of MSME Day. MAMSE and KVIC officials presented their schemes for promoting Entrepreneurship useful for Cow based Industries too.
Rupala said that in his global campaign of Save Soil, Sadguru has brought attention of world on the depleting soil and nutrients in them. This could cause major Food security issue too. We are lucky that Indigenous Cow dung has this capacity to rectify and enrich the Soil. Indigenous Cows are in fact only solution for this global issue. We need to work sincerely in this direction. Rupala said that Prime Minister Modi often says that we have poisoned the Soil by various chemicals and now we should give the required nutrients back to soil. Only Cow dung and Cow urine could do it.
Talking about Income and Entrepreneurship opportunities, Rupala said that AMUL is the only enterprise which injects more than Rs 125 crore daily in Village economy. That too is only Mother Cow’s blessing. Now a day it is established that Gaushalas with thousands of Cows could feed them by earning through Cow dung and Cow urine only. Cattle rearing is important not only for income but it is a must for global food security and human health. He said he is not giving official statement, agencies are collecting data but he got to know that people serving Cows during Corona were not victim to corona. During Corona period, world has appreciated the need of immunity to fight against Corona.
Rupala said that earning opportunities around Cow rearing is increasing with so fast pace that soon people will be jealous of Cow Entrepreneurs in coming days. Cow rearing is great opportunity for capable and Self dependent India. Rupala motivated GCCI officials to focus on conducting seminars for disseminating useful information about benefits of Cow rearing and related Government schemes in every district. He also talked about creating awareness about Breed Conservation, marketing and training. Rupala said that to safeguard cattles from diseases, Govt of India has given Rs. 13.5 thousand crores for vaccination drive. Central Government has also approved 4 thousand mobile veterinary units across India on Central government expenditure. Work in many states has already started on that.
GCCI founder Dr Vallabhbhai Kathiria said that for Entrepreneurship and marketing, various ministries like MSME, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Health, Tourism, Industry and Skill Development ministries etc have their schemes. Youth and Women in field of Cow Rearing and Cow Entrepreneurship should take advantage of them. Dr Kathiria said that he has ensured that in all these Government schemes the component of Cow based Industries should also get added. GCCI is committed to promote Cow Entrepreneurship with help from Government and Cow rearers along with Cow Entrepreneurs.
Assistant Director in MSME, Ramawatar Singh informed about many MSMSE Schemes including Credit Guarantee Scheme for Micro and Small enterprises where a first generation entrepreneur can get grant up to Rs 2 crore which will be collateral free and third partner guarantor free. He also spoke various MSME schemes for products manufacturing, training, marketing that could be easily availed by Cow Entrepreneurs too. He also talked about SFURTI scheme where grants worth Rs 2.5 crore to Rs 5 crore could be availed. He also guided about GEM registration, Enterprise registration and schemes related to patents. Assistant director from KVIC Indrajit informed in detail about Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program (PMEGP).
MSME Cabinet minister in Madhya Pradesh Om Prakash Saklecha also participated in the event and told about entrepreneur friendly schemes for Cow Rearing and Cow Entrepreneurship in MP. Haryana Gau Seva Aayog Chairman Shravan Garg and National convener of Gau Seva Gatividhi Shri Ajit Prasad Mohapatra stressed on effective implementations of schemes on ground. Rtd IAS Kamal Taori focused on Marketing and Consulting needs. This International webinar was anchored by Pureesh Kumar.
